L’Africaine des Garanties et du Cautionnement (AFGC) S.A was founded on December 10, 2014 and is the first private Guarantee Fund in the Republic of Benin. Agreement and authorization:

L’AFGC S.A is registered under number B0216 Z of the list of financial institutions of a banking nature of the WAMU.

It is a public limited company under private law that has a fully paid-up capital of three (03) billions (3,000,000,000). The issued capital is held by companies such as THE AFRICAN INSURANCE GROUP, THE NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY FUND (CNSS), THE BSIC BANK BENIN, THE MANAGEMENT AND INTERMEDIATION COMPANY OF BENIN (SGI) and other private investors.

The Central Guarantee Fund of Morocco (CCG-Maroc) is the technical and strategic partner of the AFGC SA. Established since 1949, the CCG-Morocco is one of the foremost of the institutional guarantee of the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The AFGC receives expertise and know-how from the CCG-Maroc in the terms of institutional guarantee and fund management on behalf of third parties.
